My incisions were completely healed and I was cleared to swim at two weeks! Thank the lord for that because I am a swim rat!!!

I live in Texas, so I opened mine two weeks ago, and the weather has been cooperating beautifully!

Please speak with your doctor. I was allowed back at the pool at 2 week. I was doing lap swimming; I would be careful about doing agressive water aerobics for a few more weeks.

I was not allowed until six weeks after, which was this past week. I also live in texas and we have a pool. It has been torture watching the family swim without me, :)

my dr said a month and then start exercising gently. i started with slow water fitness classes and really like them. i go 4 days a week, they really help with weight loss in my mid section, but i was completely surprised when too tight shirts started to fit well too. .Pushing those foam water weights is really a workout !! Down 30 lbs in 3.5 months ! Woo hoo !!

Contact with doctor about swimming . Doctor give you good advice and it helps you better .

My dr said 4 weeks for me

I am hoping to get cleared for the pool at my next appt (4 wks out). I was going to water aerobics and ready to jump back in!
