    Pizza

    I eat pizza now. I am over a year out. I could not eat it at first but I can eat 1 slice now. I only do this about once every 2 to 3 months if that. I always get the crispy crust. Kat

    Drinking And Standing

    I can drink anytime before meals. My doctor has always said to wait 20 minutes after i am done with my meal. Take my advise and wait the 20 minutes. I have drank to soon after eating and it causes me to erupt. Kat

    Medication Gets "stuck"

    I have had trouble since I got my band. Do not lay down after taking them. I also had the burning and my NP told me to take a Nexium for a few days and it would help and it does help. So when it comes back I take the nexium for a couple of days and it goes away. Kat

    I dont use my card. I do however order from the staters menu a lot. If I want something on the regular menu I share with my son or husband or I take it home and eat it later. Kat

  10. I started getting the bat wings at around 40 lost. So I am now doing body pump and it has helped a lot. It also depends on age.When you exercise you also need to do weights. :)Weights are what will help with toning. Kat

  15. I am almost a year out. I eating until I am full. That is normally around a cup and a half of food. I also eat 6 to 7 times a day per my doctor since I am doing body pump classes. Everyone is different so what works for me might not work for anyone else. I also still struggle with eating to fast. What is up with that? Kat

    Sunday Morning Rant

    Love this post. I was on the smaller side with my BMI at 35 but I was prediabetic, high blood pressure since 30 yrs old, high choloestral, tired all the time. I watched my mother die a slow horrible death thanks to diabetes and decided I didnt want to to that to my kids. This is the best I have felt in 20 years and I am only 45. This was the single best thing I have ever done for myself and looking better was just the icing. Kat
  17. I had those feelings of I wont be able to eat certain foods that I love. Guess what? I am almost a year out and this was the best thing I ever did for myself. If I want those foods sometimes I have them just not as much. The foods that I just cant have are mainly bread items and most fruits. I even eat pizza once in a while. Thin crust only. Remember this isnt about what you cant have its more about learning to eat better and smaller portions and stopping when your satisfied not full and for me slowing down while I eat. Good Luck Kat

    I eat egg salad or even tuna salad with a protein shake. Sometimes I will also have sausage patty on the way to work. I am starving in the mornings and have to have something. Kat

    Awesome job.I started in a 20. I am now a size 8. Just be careful on how many you buy. Also if the clothes are even a little loose think about sizing down. That way you can wear them longer.

    Can Someone Explain The "green Zone"?

    I am satisfied with around a 1 and 1/2 cups to 2 cups of food. I also will forget to eat and have to remind myself when I have been busy with work or other things. When I get bored is when I want to snack. I really dont measure or log food anymore. Kat

    Age 36 Weight 223 Height 5 3.5

    I was 227 pounds and 5'6. My BMI was 36.My age is 45. I have lost most of my weight.I am at 157 pounds. I am not really losing pounds now but I am losing size.I am for the first time in 20 years in a size 8 to 10. The struggles I have are first exercise. You must do something. Second is when I do get hungry I still feel my plate like being prebanded even though I know I wont be able to eat it. My other issue is eating to fast when I am hungry. I wonder if that will ever go away for me. :blink:Good luck on your journey. Kat

    Zumba

    I do Zumba every week. I love it. I have no rhythm. Never have. It also took me a few weeks to start catching on but I finally got most of it down. I have never moved like the instructors but thats OK. I leave there sweating my butt off. The time also flys by. Kat
