I don't think there is really a limit to that, just whenever you feel up for it.

I was told no swimming or bath (shower only) until after two week appt. and doc released me.

I was told 6 weeks for a spa or pool....something about bacteria.

I was told two weeks. Highly recommend water proof MP3 player. Several brands available on Amazon.

Hi does anyone know how long till swimming is allowed??

My instructions were 4 weeks if it is your own pool, 6 if it is a public pool.

I was told 2 weeks if it is a pool and 4 weeks if it is the ocean or lake. They just want to ensure the outside stuff is healed to avoid infection.
