Anyone Else Have Port In Chest?

My port is in my left chest. I was banded on 2.17.12 and tonight I'm feeling some shooting pains in my left breast. Anyone else experience anything like this?

My port is on my breast bone, no problems.

Cancer patients get ports on the chest too.Not sure about the pains though. Personally, I'd much rather have the port on my chest.

Mine is also very high - right under my left breast. I think I prefer it there as I read some people have theirs in their bend zone. I go for m first fill tomorrow - we'll see if I still like there after that - lol.

My port is about an inch below my rib cage on the left side and I haven't had any pain with it there.

mine on chest, after I've eaten it tends to stick out -_-

but no pains

I thought mine was right under my left breast..because there is a huge bump there. When I went to get my first fill the doctor actually said the port was about 2-3 inches lower. I really dont know what the bump is..I think its part of my band...he really wasnt too clear when I asked him so when I go for my next fill Im going to really demand to know what it is..it drives me nuts.
