I had surgery jan 20th and I am just starting to be able to sleep on my tummy.

I had surgery 1-24 and Im a tummy sleeper I try to sleep tummy up but sometimes I find myself down, lol, but no pain or apnea

I was sleeping on my stomach about a week after surgery, it might have even been a little less than a week

yup. tummy sleeping is the bomb!

I was banded yesterday and I slept on my tummy last night. I was really careful about getting into the tummy-sleeping position, but once I was there all was good. I have to fall asleep on my while laying on my tummy. :)

It took about a month before I could sleep on my tummy after being banded. The 1st month if I rolled over in my sleep I would wake up in terrible pain. I used pillows to help position myself to prevent rolling over. But when the swelling went down I was able to get a good nights sleep on my tummy. Just like everything else after major surgery, it all takes time to heal.

Good luck to you =0)

I had mine on Jan. 25 and until this week, I was not able to sleep on my side without it being uncomfortable, but now most of the time it's not an issue now. It's also nice to kinda not feel the sensation all the time that it is in there to. I was always worried that it would feel like a foreign object, but unless I touch it, I really don't notice it's there most of the time.

I'm a tummy sleeper and I was sleeping on my tummy within 3 days after surgery. I've never had a problem.

I had my surgery on January 23rd. It took about a week to be able to sleep comfortably on my sides or roll over. But after that yes, no problem.
