New Pics On My Profile :)

I like this new layout. It seems to be easier to update pics and such. I added some new pics of my progress. I lost the original ones that I did when i was first banded which is a bummer (didnt download them from my phone and lost my phone). So the progress pics are from about two months out and I was already down about 27 lbs. But you can see the before pic on the profile page and that was taken on October of 2010.

I look back now and everyone that see it says that they cant beleive I was ever that big. Its amazing how much you can change in a year (or less).

Come check out my pics :)

Thanks! You guys are doing awsome. I didnt think I wanted to take pics ongoing, but it does seem to help with the progression. Even the first 25 I could see a difference in my face and other parts as well. I still have 18 lbs to go and Im sure that it will be a big difference again. Good Luck to you both. :)

Ain't that the truth!!!!

You look fantastic! Keep up the great work and you are inspiring to me. My next goal is onederland...and then who knows. I have some photos (not posted), but I don't think I look all that different, my husband says different. I not only have to deal with head hunger, but apparently head body image as well.

I think that has been one of the hardest things to get used to is wraping my head around the fact that I actually lost weight. Normally when I lost weight, I was on a "diet" and it took forever and I was always starving and I would only lose about 20 lbs or so. But when I lost the weight, it felt like it because I guess i thought I worked really hard. But this has been "kinda" easy in the fact that I just have to eat to work with the band and I am really not that hungry at all. So when I try to wrap my head around that I have lost 60+ pounds, sometimes it doesnt seem possible. I look in the mirror and I say wow, fruitsex.gif I actually did it.

Not sure if that makes sense or not :) Im sure you hubby is right when he says he can tell a difference even if you cant yet :) Congrats and take some more pics Banane57.gif

Pictures along the way are a good thing! I just got my "before pic" from my doctor yesterday and it put my accomplishment in a whole new perspective for me! All my pictures before, reluctantly were taken hiding as much as myself as I could. The after picture, there was no stopping my big old grin!

You Look HOT!!! way to go! I read your profile and its still amazing thinking back at how it was just a year ago. I feel you pain and joy! I see you are under the 20 mark as well. It seems like the last 20 will go soooo slow! good luck to you. You look amazing!

Thanks, I couldn't be happier. Was thinking a couple of weeks ago how amazing it was for me to think that I had less than 20 pounds to lose! I have struggled with my weight since 3rd grade. Weighed 145 graduating high school, went to 190 in college, down to 138 before I got pregnant with my first kid and after that I have yo yo'd from 225-175. I was shocked when I went for my preop weighing in at 238! If you asked me if I thought this was possible Thanksgiving of 2010, I would have said, "NO WAY!"
