Hi Iam Brian and will have lap band on Feb. 16 and very nervous but also looking forward to being healthy and feel better again. The main reason for doing this is to live longer for my four daughters and grandson well my whole family plus to stick around and bug my wife a little longer!! laugh.png

Bugging your wife is as good a reason as any. Welcome.

It's okay to be nervous as I am myself. My anticipated surgery month is in Feb also. You are heading down the right track, not only am I doing this for myself. I would love to be around to see my kids grow up. Weight loss is the best thing anyone can do, to live a long and healthier life. As long as your family is behind you, you will do great. There's a lot of good support on this site. Feel free to ask questions or voice concerns. Good luck on your journey to becoming a healthier you.

Good luck to you... Great idea to get over the holidays before you do it.. Mine will be the first of Jan so Christmas food is going to be a torchure.
