200lbs Gone After My Lap Band Surgery !

Today i can celebrate the loss of 200 lbs and i am now exactly half the person i was when i started this journey. I have a little way to go yet and then i have to start on the plastic surgery .. even if i cant afford to get this excess skin removed i would still be happy that the weight has gone. :)

Absolutely amazing work. You have inspired me. I will have my surgery in April and really want to lose 100 pounds before surgery but would be happy with 80. After that, I have a goal of 100 pound in the year after my surgery but after seeing this, that sounds like it could be conservative. Of course, I will need the dedication that you have. At this point, 8 miles on a bike sounds like a dream.

Gratz on the weight loss already Mike you sound determined ! Having to lose a fair amount of weight before surgery i feel is a great help to success post-op

, well it was for me anyways. My pre-op diet was just 600 calories a day and i did that for nearly 3 months, so eating a 1000 calories post-op seemed like a feast :)

Just make sure you push yourself exercising, its hard when we start off weighing so heavy but just up it each week, even if u start off only 10 mins a day at our initial weights any movement gets results..

good luck :)

CONGRATULATIONS

What you have accomplished is wonderful, Cazzy! I bet you could ride circles around the old you!
