Too Big Or Too Small

Recommended Posts

I am at 5.25 cc

Why is it with the band you can eat the smallest piece of white chicken and get stuck but you can eat the largest bite of chocolate and it goes down?

I am struggling so bad with eating whole foods! I cant eat white chicken, salad, or red meat. I am afraid to take Fluid out because right now if i eat tuna salad or chkn salad i can eat a cup at time if i gave up bread 6 months before my surgery along with rice. i only eat no yolk Pasta 1 time month maybe ad can eat cup or 2 of that! I dont want to make my port bigger but how do i eat the healthy stuff? and I CANT LOSE WEIGHT!

I was told at Thanksgiving that I could have a few pieces of turkey, so I ate the dark meat. I have come to realize, that dark meat pulverizes easier in your mouth. Try that, you may also be able to eat the chicken and tuna salad b/c it is "wet" from low fat mayo. I Googled slider food and read that when something has low fat mayo or dressing it slides through better. Good luck with trying new foods!

Everyone is different, but I have 5.5 ccs and have had no problems with chicken breast (I haven't tried steak yet). I try to keep it very moist when cooking it. I'll usually bake it with the addtion of chicken broth and lemon. I cut it real small and dip it in something. Salsa or some FF dressing. I bought my husband some pork chops this week. I'm not sure yet if I will try them.

Chocolates going to go down easy whatever amount of fill you have. It's a slider food. So.woth that you just have to use good old fashioned will power!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
