100 Pound Milestone - and then some!

Recommended Posts

I'm really excited today because I reached my 100 pound milestone since starting my pre-op diet in April! I lost 25 pounds on the pre-op diet before my surgery, and since the surgery I have lost a total of 80 POUNDS!!! My surgery was June 8th. I have 2cc's in my 10 cc band. That was put in during surgery, and I haven't had a fill yet.

Not only did I meet the 100 pound goal, but it's a 105 pound loss!! I lost 6 pounds this week :D

I am just completely thrilled, and really proud of myself! I never imagined that I would get to twoderville... and I'm on my way to onederland! I was stuck for so long, and this band has been exactly what I needed to kickstart my health into gear.

I wanted to thank everyone on this forum for being so wonderful and supportive, and for all of the great advice, camaraderie and support that you all have given me on my journey so far!

Just 89 more pounds to go!!!!!!!!

YAY!!!

I'll post a pic later today after I take a shower. :)

It's stories like this that make me glad my insurance wouldn't cover the sleeve. I really hope I can work the band as well as you do. I'm getting the band on Monday and I'm extremely nervous but reading this helps. :) Thanks for posting!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
