First Lap Band Fill - No Restriction

Recommended Posts

Should i be worried! i had my first fill on 11/07/11, 6.cc no restriction, I phoned the doctor the following day about my concern, I retuned on 11/09/11 recieved another fill total of 8cc, with little restriction. I only have a 10cc band, I was told after surgery my first fill would have to be large due to the amont of space i had in between my band and stomach.

I really don't know what to say. You seem to have 14ccs in a 10cc band? I would think you'd be a little tight, but now that

I've reread your post, I think you meant to say 8 and .6 for a total of 8.6cc. I'd say you are approaching your ideal fill.

I'd say go for another .5cc and see what that does for you. I'm sure we'd all appreciate it if you would keep us up to date

on your progress. TIA

& It's okay. Go for another fill. You can get a fill up to 10 ccs, sometimes plus more because whatever can fit in the port tubing! You'll find your restriction! Good luck

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
