Stool Problem

Recommended Posts

I haven't had a fill in over 2 years. I have maintained my weight loss just fine. (over 130 lbs.) The problem is that I usually have to go #2 (stool) about once every 3 or 4 days. Then it is extremely large and hard. I have tried stool softener and other products but no result. coffee in morning sometimes help. I exercise dailey and am fairly disciplined in my habits.

The other strange problem is that I have to sit and sit and try to force the log out. When I do, every time I have a seaman discharge which my doctor says he has never heard of. Oh yes, my doctor has not been much help other than collect a fee for seeing him.

Does anyone else experience this?

Try drinking at least two quarts of Water a day. It usually works

and doesn't cost much.

I take a spoonful of benefibre every day in whatever the first thing I drink is. It's completely flavourless, so it can mix in with Water, Protein shake, tea, coffee, whatever.

I hope you find a solution that works for you.

Start the day with ice Water and lots during the day ALSO, Greek Yogurt seems to really get me going. I am like you in the subhuman logs, husband taped my name on the plunger.

I had the same problem a while ago (minus the discharge). When I asked my doctor she recommended miralax. I still didn't take it for some reason and when I went pre op for my GI consult I said it to that doc and she also reccomended miralax. Which I now take most everyday. It makes going a lot easier. And Water doesn't cut it for me as I drink at least a gallon a day, usually more

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
