I got stuck at 200 , 190 and then 188 for three weeks. Now Im stuck at 184. It is crasy even though I have lost 34 lbs in nine weeks. I feel the same way. I still see my self as FAT and have a hard time seeing myself any other way.

You are not alone... I am sure this thought has crossed all of our minds at one time or another.

I am finally believing in myself where I know this will work and it will happen!!!

You can do it!

I got stuck at 242 around December. I got another fill and I'm down to 226. ;)

Just do the right things and it will come off. ;)

I was stuck at 237 from before Christmas...just this week, the scale started moving again. Remember, fat takes up a lot of space, but doesn't weigh much...you can lose a lot of fat, and it will only be 1 pound. Also, when the scale isn't moving, the body is changing...I didn't lose any weight from December to this week, but I was able to wear one size smaller. Relax, and let your body adjust. Keep after it, and you will see the results you want. Cindy

I know its hard, I lost over 30 pounds in the first month....now its taken me 5 months to lose another 25...but you are going in the right direction and your body is adjusting! for me I go like a month with no weightloss..then

bam...5 pounds gone..then I go another 3-4 weeks, bam some more gone. It took me 10 yrs to gain 100 ponds and I have lost 6 years of weight in 6 months....Thats what keeps me going! You CAN do it, even when you have down falls....your band will keep you on track..WORK IT!:clap2:

It's quite a headtrip isnt it?

I rememeber pre banding, all of the last year I went on shopping sprees where I bought size 16 clothes to stockpile. I bought a few 18's too which I am wearing now.

In my mind, 16's (US 14) were tiny tiny tiny and they represented my goal weight. I have to say I think sizing has changed an awful lot since I was last a 16, since I'll be wearing those clothes in another 10kg! But I cant get my head around it - I try them on and they slip on easily - just cant get the zippers done up yet, lol. Before I couldnt even get them past my thighs. But I cant reconcile I'll be a 16 but I will still be overweight because I know they'll fit by 90kg which is still 20kg over my goal weight. So what, I'm going to be a 14 or even a 12? Last time I was a size 12 I was honestly 10 years old!!!!!

But you just look the same to yourself however many pounds down dont you? You cant see that you've shrunk apart from when you catch sight of yourself suddenly or unexpectedly.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.
