Big Boobies!!!

Recommended Posts

If this topic caught your attention, hopefully you have some insight to add. I have lost 24 pounds since the surgery. I am losing in my face, neck, legs, stomach shoulders, everywhere but my BOOBIES!!! My bra size is slowly decreasing around my upper stomach but the cup size is not changing. I feel like I am slowly becoming Dolly Parton!! From my understanding, boobs are a good portion of fat so shouldn't they be decreasing too?? I guess a downside would be sagging but I can finally shop in the regular women's sizes except for the boobie part!! How has weight loss affected your boobies??

Not that this will make you happy but... it's different for everyone biggrin.gif I'm Dolly Parton-ing right now too. A minimizer bra is my current BFF. I've gone down 2 band sizes but no cup sizes.

Totally different for everyone - mine is the cup size has reduced and the band size stayed the same.

I had a reduction 5 years ago and with the weight I gained throughout that time I was a 44dd and I lost 80lbs since march 18 being banded and my breads are currently 38 c and I'm finally for the first time in 20 years very happy with the size they will go down give it some time...

Give it some time, I too had huge breasts and a 24lb weight loss didn't effect my breasts either. I'm now down over 60lbs and I definitely can see a huge difference. I went from a 40DD to now a 38D, I still hope to lose more and be a 36 or 38 C but with the right bra, I already look so much more proportionate.

I was down 50 lbs before I had to change my bra size. I also expected a drastic change there, but it never happened. A little droop, but nothing bad. It really is different for everyone.

I started with a bra size of 40D, now I have a bra size of 34B. I wish I could say that makes me happy, but it doesn't. Not only have the size of my breasts shrunk, but it's like they are deflated balloons :( With a great fitting bra it is not noticeable, but I know. I am now saving money to get a breast lift and implants :)

I've gone from a 42DD to a 40C.....

To me they still look huge, and I TOTALLY fill the C cup!! Wearing my new bras that now fit makes them look like Dolly Parton's tiny twins.

I could still lose a little more of the girls.... so far I've lost 3 inches since June.

That's what I am afraid of. I want them to shrink, God knows i'd love to fit in regular shirts, but I do not want them to get saggy. I'd almost rather keep the big boobies, i am sure my husband would agree. Your picture looks great though!! Your body is definitely beautiful!! :D I hope you get the money for the lift you want, I am obviously pro-surgery improvement!! Good luck to you!

Mine were late to go, i was a dd and hated it. I went dow to a d but down about four back sizes so my breasts were a lot smaller. In the final 20 ( and already under a bmi of 25), i shrank to a c. I have no desire for large breasts so i was happy

I went from 42/44 dd to 36/34 d. I feel most comfortable in 36 so that is what I wear, but they measure me at 34. I use the last hook when I wear 36, tho'. Anyway, about shirt size, I can wear a small shirt. so, not nec. that you will not fit into normal woman's clothes as you loose, even if your boobies stay a d cup. Karen

Started as a 42 H, lost 80 pounds now a 38 H. For me, they are genetic more than they are due to my having been overweight.

I started at 46H and I'm now in a 34F (or triple D). They look horrible-- there is definitely plastic surgery in my future to fix these puppies. While I'm glad to be smaller and I do look proportional (with a bra on) believe it or not, I have the breasts of a 90-year-old woman under all the support.

Moral of my story-- careful what you wish for :) I hope you have better luck.

Patyann..... i completely agree with you.... even at my smallest (size 0-3 in my twenties) i still had 36D...... but as the weight came on so did more boobs.

My biggest bra size was a 44G, lost about 50 and bra changed to a 38H... yes went up a cup size..... now at 83lbs lost in almost two years.... i'm at a 36FF........... shirt size went from 2xl to a large for the most part.

Good luck

That's right - a D cup is not a Dcup is not a Dcup - a 42D is a much larger actual breast than a 32D - the A B C D etc measures the proportion or ratio of the size of your actual breast to your back size, so if you shrink from a 40D to a 36D, not only has your backsize changed, your breast has reduced considerably in size and volume too. So a 42D and a 32D are not just the same sized breasts on a smaller body frame.

And its also true that some women will retain huge bosoms even as their bodies shrink - some of us are genetically "blessed" (depends how you see it I guess, lol).

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
