As for the original post .......

I think I agree with whoever said it has improved my situation ......... no anatomy details from me :)

My port is centered about 1 1/2 " below my sternum and has not been in a bad spot for anything including sex.

@ hummingbird

Always my pleasure to give someone joy. I'm glad I could cause you to smile.

I lost my smile a long time ago. It feels so good to be getting it back. My smile and my walk.

Smiling is contagious now I'm smiling. Thank you.

This forum is a wonderful place to go for advise, I did not mean to come across rude by any means. I just found it amusing about the oral part, and could only imagine either an ungodly huge tongue or something else that I know most people would not be able to withstand. Really, wish the best of luck and did not mean to offend you in any way. It just completely hit my funny bone!

Jonna,

It's cool. I really think the reason you find a larger size distasteful is a cultural physiology issue. I will repeat it. I don't find it a hardship in the least. God made my body to accommodate the black man. Yours he made to accommodate your man.

Why do you believe black women have so much behind, lips and bosom. You guessed it, to accommodate the black man's body.

Let's try celebrating the differences instead of fearing them.

J

Actually scientifically there is no relation to size and race although one study did find that white and black avg the same while it was the middle eastern man who took the lead in avg erect size. The vagina is actually able to contract and relax its muscles to accomidate the size of the male she is with at that time. But as far as race and size it is all myth. As a nurse with 15 yrs i have seen hundreds if not thousands and i can say on average there is no significant difference that i have seen. Human sexuality.... Funnest class from college!

..........If you're with someone that it could, I would say you're not going to be around long enough to see if it will effect you!!!!

lol!

My port bothers me sometimes when I am having sex. Oral... seems the same.

I thought this post was interesting until the members started getting sensitive and the topic starter getting defensive. The mentioning of God, black vs. white penis size, etc. was ludicrous. Honestly do not believe that anyone said anything that was considered harsh or to belittle. I have read some harsh comments and this was no where near close to that. The 2nd question was extremely vague........upon reading I said "What the hell?" I would have never guessed gag reflex from the way it was worded. Just like some of you said that if you are not interested or want to be harsh to move on........ok that's fine but what is the point of going tit for tat (back and forward for those who don't know) negatively with members, just read the post that you find informative. One more thing in my opinion anything related to lapband (port placement, sex with lapband etc) should be asked to your surgeon (the expert). You should feel comfortable asking him anything, hell you feel comfortable enough to let this person give you incisions, use instruments in side your body, place a foreign object all while you have a machine breathing for you.

And lets face it a gag reflex is a gag reflex. You don't need a band to have one of those.

I also don't think that was the way the question was worded. It was worded as though the actual band was going to get in the way.

I understand.

I suppose in my discretion I was purposely non detailed. It's very interesting how different people interpret the same information. Fascinating really.

You might want to look around the site, I believe there is another very long thread dedicated to the very same issue.

Ok peeps,

I started this to ask a very sensitive question. Let me say this again:

I WAS PURPOSELY VAGUE CZ MINORS HAVE ACCESS TO THIS SITE.

DUH.

In hoping, that you are all 21 and over. I made myself a bit more clear.

It Is interesting how most interpreted what I said. It says more about them than it does me.

Somebody has to protect the babies with lapbands.

I have to apologize for misunderstanding your post. Gag reflex didn't cross my mind.....but anyhooo it might sound crazy but my gag reflex has never been super sensitive but it was there....and since surgery I've notice no sensitivity....soooo :-). As for swallowing.....not my cup of tea!

My port is right under my sternum and I can feel some pressure on it during intimacy. Any time I am in a position to be scrunched up, it feels weird. I don't think there is any particular place that would not cause discomfort during intimacy since it has to be so close to the outside of the skin.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
