  5. Thank you ladies! I've been pretty good up until now.....I pushed my limit and now I am paying the price. I knew better....I'm back in the wagon now and will keep on trucking!
  6. I've just over a year out and very happy with my surgery, progress...etc... We went out for Mexican last night and I ate WAY more than I should have. This is the first time I've felt ill and still sick to my stomach the next day! I think I ticked off my band.....I feel like I cannot eat much of anything today at all. Any suggestions on how to sooth things??
  7. I had the hair loss about 3 months out as well. Biotin helps a lot!! :-)

  9. Don't worry but I would he careful and mindful. I can tell a big difference after my first fill, Thank goodness!
  10. Right now is what people like to call "bandster hell" which is when you have healed from surgery, swelling has gone down and you have little to no restriction from your band. I had the same thing and right now is all based on your own will power.....you have to stop thinking I can eat like I did and keep the pre op/post op diet fresh in your mind....I can only eat this much and stop yourself. Don't let the "I can eat again food monster invade your thoughts" bc he will and I think that monster is the cause of a lot of post op weight gain. My loss since surgery has been SLOOOOOOWWW and I just had my first fill Friday. Are you scheduled for your first fill?
  11. Hi, I can't provide feedback on that Dr and not sure what insurance you have but my surgeon is Dr. Aguila in Tampa and LOVE HIM! I think he accepts most insurance also. :-) Good luck!
  12. Dang! I'm on the pill.....this blows!
  13. seriously.....when will this period nonsense stop! I'm going on a few weeks and OVER IT!
  14. It's like 3-4 weeks out before your first fill when you can eat just about anything. I'm sticking to the rules!!!
  15. I have to apologize for misunderstanding your post. Gag reflex didn't cross my mind.....but anyhooo it might sound crazy but my gag reflex has never been super sensitive but it was there....and since surgery I've notice no sensitivity....soooo :-). As for swallowing.....not my cup of tea!
  16. I will be 3 weeks out Thursday....I'm on solids and now understand "bandster hell" I'm doing my best to make the best choices and still eat as if I have some restriction. Grrrr!!
  17. J, I would think that if you trust your surgeon enough to do this you could ask the questions. However, I understand if you're uncomfortable. Maybe you could ask your gyn Dr?
