Stupid!

I've just over a year out and very happy with my surgery, progress...etc...

We went out for Mexican last night and I ate WAY more than I should have. This is the first time I've felt ill and still sick to my stomach the next day! I think I ticked off my band.....I feel like I cannot eat much of anything today at all. Any suggestions on how to sooth things??

First...learn from your experience of last night! We each have to learn the "personality" of our band.

You might want to return to a liquid diet for a day to allow your system to calm down. Though you may not feel like eating, it is still important to stay properly hydrated and meet your daily Protein intake goal.

Once again, I am agreeing with Sojourner! Try staying with liquids today. I have had that happen. Be good to yourself, and band! Best wishes. Karen

Thank you ladies! I've been pretty good up until now.....I pushed my limit and now I am paying the price. I knew better....I'm back in the wagon now and will keep on trucking!

Been there.... done that!!! Yep.. back on liquids for a day or two.

Liquids are a bandsters tylenol. Don't beat yourself up.... But just remember you will need 2 days before your ody gets rid of it. Drink lots of Water and have some broth... You will be fine.

Good luck

I did the same thing on my b day ate way to much at red lobster i was sick..i just ate very light the next day!
