I'm on birth control pills faithfully and its not time for my.perioid but I started spotting a bit and feel like I might start. Did this happen to anyone else?? I'm.wondering if its just the change in my body from surgery and diet or what.

YES! I can tell you from personal experience that losing weight and becoming healthy will make your hormones balance out. First of all, feminine hormones are stored in your fat cells, and as you lose weight, everything's probably going to be wonky for a little bit, and then will normalize. In my case, it made me balanced out enough to become pregnant, which is something that I never thought would happen to me, and hadn't happened for 9 years. Although I lost the baby, it was a huge sign that my body is leaning towards doing what it's supposed to be doing.

Don't worry too much! You're just getting healthier.

I have an IUD, and am 10 days post op. Since surgery I have been spotting twice; which is completely out of the norm for me with the IUD. Everything I researched said it could happen, spotting, so I wouldn't worry unless it gets worse than spotting.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
