How long til it starts working?!

Recommended Posts

I am so frustrated..I am following the program, had 2 fills, work out, eat right and I'm NOT LOSING

How long should I give it before I decide to start looking at bypass? I hate the thought of doing bypass, but I am in my 3rd month, and I've gained back 10 of the 18lbs I initially lost on the liquid diet post-op.

More details here: http://daily-katie.blogspot.com/

Help!

DO NOT DESPAIR! I was told just today that you can gain 7 lbs of Water weight just from surgery. I mean it's easy to loose weight when you're on a liquid diet. So i'm not surprised that you might have gained some of that back with solid food. It might take some time before you level out and start to really loose. As long as you are following the diet (no milkshakes, no high fat puddings, no ice cream) just certain quality foods in moderation you WILL LOOSE WEIGHT. If you don't put it in, you will loose weight soon. Part of the process is being patient. I don't think u should jump to bypass after 3 months. You worked hard to get this surgery and u need to stick with it. It is not magic u need to make sure u follow all instructions and keep trying. u can do it!!!!!!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
