I have Frozen Yogurt once and a while. I will load it up with fruit and and if they have a sugar free flavors available I always opt for that.

What you do 90% of the time is what is important. If you want a treat occasionally that is fine. If you deprive yourself completely you are more likely to fail. Not being able to eat "good Stuff" is way too diet mentality and that hasn't worked for most of us in the past.

My son works at a frozen yogurt store and I'm a frequent visitor! It's really not that high in calories or fat and hits the sweet spot nicely! I think a lot of the danger comes from the toppings, just try a little harder to hold back on the good stuff on top!

Frozen yogurt seems a better option then ice cream! As a treat once and a while is good :)

I've had fat free frozen yogurt as a treat every so often. Where I get it, it is like 27 calories and ounce and the small is 5 ounces. That is not bad. The great thing is, where as pre band, I'd get a large, now a small satisfies me. I also get Ralphs Italian Ices every so often too (haven't had it in a while though), that is delicious.

There's nothing wrong with a treat occasionally - there's nothing wrong with frozen yogurt OR ice cream OR chocolate even, if you dont eat it all the time.

I'm everlastingly grateful that ice cream and frozen yogurt just dont interest me. I had a tub of ice cream in my freezer for the entire four years that I lived in one place! Its one diet killer that assails you at every corner and thankfully one I never even stop to consider giving into. I'm also extremely glad that since Krispy Kremes opened here, those things absolutely STINK when they're cooking, they taste foul and bland and they're not even what an Aussie would call a real donut - that has to be piping hot, with 3rd degree burn inducing jam in the middle that spurts all over you when you bite it and rolled in sugar and cinnamon mmmmmmmm

And oh! those fresh baked Cookies in the shopping centre, the aroma, the choc chips still all melty, mmmmmmmm

sorry to start a food porn thread, lol. Any of those things is absolutely fine as a very occasional treat.

I very much agree that living the 90/10 rule is the way to go. My big issue is creating food habits. That everytime I go somewhere or do something it means I will eat X. This leads to me eating when I'm not really hungry. I would say go have some frozen yogurt but don't give in to having some tomorrow because you can convince your self it's "not that bad".

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
