Muscle Milk-Chocolat

Recommended Posts

Hi---I'm getting banded on Aug 9...Ive been trying different Protein Shakes and not having a lot of luck of finding one I LOVE...I just found some I can tolerate. So I keep hearing about Muscle Milk. I bought some last night...my question is did anybody drink it straight or did you blend/mix with something?

Any other shakes receipes you have would be great!

I used the Atkins Advantage shakes during my pre-op weight loss. I will go back post op as well. I can not say that I was the biggest fan at first; but I learned to love them. Honestly, I place them in the freezer prior to drinking them. Not to freeze the shake, but to make it really cold. It has become like a daily treat for me. Im not sure if this is good or not, but it reminds me of having a milkshake and leaves me satisfied.

we discovered that if you use carnation instant Breakfast sugar free vanilla and put a half pack of crystal light strawberry it is awesome.....the carnation shakes (both chocolate and vanilla) are pretty good alone too..:D

I used Muscle Mil Lite ready-to-drink shakes for awhile, until I found Premier Protein ready-to-drink shakes. (premiernutrition.com) I switched because I much preferred the taste of the Premier Nutrition shakes. I had severe gastric issues with powdered shake mixes, and found the ready-to-drink shakes got the job done without any side effects. I still drink a Premier Nutrition chocolate shake in the car on my way to work every morning. (They sell them at costco, in addition to other locations, and their website.)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
