Good luck and congrats on your upcoming surgery. I get banded on August 12, and I am also excited and nervous. Mostly excited now, but as the surgery date gets closer I'm probably going to get more nervous! I hope things go well for the both of us :)

I get banded on Tuesday and I CAN'T WAIT!!!! <insert booty dance here> :D

I can't wait either...although I do not have a date for surgery yet...I'm still waiting on the insurance part of it. I'm trying to stay optimistic :). Good luck...let us know how you are doing after the surgery.

I was banded on Wed the 20th and my advice is just know that you are going to probably have a really bad 48hrs and then wake up feeling much better. My surgery went fine but I had loads of nausea after for about 4hrs and then just mega soreness at the incision sites. I was able to walk around with pain in the first two days but when I woke up on Friday, I felt like myself again! Now it's Sunday and I am pretty much back to myself. Yesterday I got up from the sofa and just popped up and forgot I had surgery.

So long story short, just tell yourself its ok to have some bad days and it really does get better!!!!laugh.gif

Good luck and you can do it!!!!

just viewing stories. Congrats to all of you on your decision and the beginning of the rest of your lives! Hope to see Less of You in the near future! God Bless!
