Flammingjun

A friend was banded about 5 years ago and suggested I have it done too. I was not ready to have it done. I held onto my weight because it told me who loved me for me, who did not want to be seen with me, who I trusted and who was "real". I met a lot of mean and cruel people along the way and thought that if I remained fat....they couldn't hurt me. Go figure. Soooooo... I went to a new doctor and was referred to as "morbidly obese". That sucked! I finally decided I was going to do this surgery for me. I have a support group meeting tomorrow and them I will finally be done with the list of things I had to do before surgery. I have good insurance and they have told me over the phone that they cover the entire cost.....however....I keep dreaming or better yet having nightmares that the insurance company denies me. So, after tomorrows support group meeting I will wait patiently for the insurance co. approval. I hope they say yes and I hope I will be scheduled soon. Excited and so scared but looking forward to a new me :-*
