The decision to have weight loss surgery wasn’t just something that happened overnight.  The idea started because I knew someone who had the procedure.  She started talking to me about it and I went to a support group with her at the hospital.  
Later that night I went home and logged on to good old YouTube.  There I found tons of videos on the subject ranging from an actual video of the procedure to people who needed to take the band out from complications and people who are doing extremely well with the band and are near their goals. 
After following one YouTuber in particular for a month or so, I checked my insurance company to see if I was eligible and I was. (Self-pay was not an option for me). 
That’s when it all started.  I went through the 6 month diet and was recently approved
