One Week Until Surgeon Appointment

I will be seeing my surgeon next Friday and find out what test I have to repeat in order to have the surgery. This is my second time around I got scared the first time and I back out of the surgery, if I would have had the surgery it would have almost been a year that I would have been banded. I have to say I'm still nervous, but not like I was last time I guess the fact that all the weight I lost last time I gained all back. I am taking a much healthier approach this time I started dieting on my birthday the 6th of June and I have lost 18 pounds since. I try to have Protein Drinks two days a week and no their food. I have really trying to watch my food intake and I have slowed my pace of eating.

This site has been very helpful and I appreciate the people that have responded to my previous post it is comforting to know there are so many people out there to talk to. I did notice that it is mostly woman who talk and comment on this site and that the guys are few and far between. I would love to hear from you all and I am a good listener for anyone who cares to share and talk.......Frank

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
