Hey Alexis,

I just checked out your "blog" site and it looks great and may I add.... SO DO YOU! What a transformation! But, I must admit that when you look closely at you’re before picture... I can see the "you now" hiding inside... You just look so much happier now!

Keep up the great work!

Hi,

Your blog looks great. I will bookmark and keep reading as I'm (hopefully!) soon to be banded and it will be inspirational.

But, my question - what on earth is a blog?

Becky

A blog is just a web log , here is the definition of it : A blog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is "blogging" and someone who keeps a blog is a "blogger." Blogs are typically updated daily using software that allows people with little or no technical background to update and maintain the blog. Postings on a blog are almost always arranged in cronological order with the most recent additions featured most prominantly.

Ooooh...I'm a bloggggggggggger! YAY!

Anne, thanks for the compliment! I do feel much better these days and I'm sure it shows.

Becky, yes, please keep reading! The more people I think read the darn thing, the more likely I am to update it..lol I'm finding it very nice to write out my thoughts.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
