Not sure if I need a fill

I have my next appt on June 10th, and I can't decide if I want a fill or not. I am almost never hungry but I can still eat a lot more than I should. Almost as much as before surgery. I also still eat too fast and my bites are too big. Hard habit to break if you don't HAVE to. I count calories most days so that keeps me from pigging out, but I wonder if I need more fill. I have never been stuck, pb'd puked, etc..., and I don't want to. I have had 2 fills. My first was 5.5 cc, and my second was .6 cc. I have an 11 cc band. Maybe just a tiny fill? Any advice???

You could probably use another fill since you can still eat larger quantities of food. My surgeon's office looks at a lot of different things before deciding on whether or not to give a fill: 1) weight loss, 2) how much you can eat, 3) hunger between meals, 4) your opinion as to whether or not you need a fill. Every time I go in, I fill in a questionnaire with all of this info and then discuss my answers with the PA before we make a decision on whether or not to fill. So far, I have only had 1 fill but at that time I was doing fine in all areas except the fact that I was getting hungry about 1 1/2 - 2 hours after eating. She gave me a fill and I was fine after that...

My 2c ...

1) just playing with numbers here - you are 17 weeks post opp. And lost 41lb. That is 2.41lb/week WOW

2) you also 'almost never hungry'

I would NOT get a fill.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
