I have been shopping at Lane Bryant for 10 plus years! I am just curious when I will be able to go into Dillards or JC Penny or Old Navy or the Gap for normal clothes???

What size do they go up to in normal stores?(even if it is a plus size)

Thanks!!!!

I don't know- I guess I'm self-conscious of shopping in regular sized stores. I went shopping out of absolute necessity over the weekend, and still made a b-line for Lane Bryant. I guess the good thing about it is that I'm now in their smallest size 14/16.

I've seen plus-sized clothes in JC Penney- go to the Women's section, I believe that's what it's called.

I found a great shop at Memorial City Mall....Torrid...It is a store for plus-sized women and they start out at size 12 and they have awesome clothes and very "in style" clothes. Check out their website too www.torrid.com. I went there and got some nice stuff. But fair warning, if you buy a pair of Paris Blues Jeans they have some stretch in them and I made the mistake of getting a 16 when I should have gotten the 14's, now after one wear and wash they are too big! So get the tighter with stretch and they will loosen up just fine!

I just checked their sizes and it looks like they go up to a 26 in pants and their tops are sized from 0-4 and they have a size chart to help.

I hope this helps you!

And there is another web site called www.alight.com that carries very nice a stylish plus sizes and I think they go up to a 26-28.

Most stores go up to at least 24. I shop at Foley's and Dilliard's in the Women's department. They have most of the good name brand clothes such as Ralph Lauren, Liz Claiborne and others.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
