relief for skinfold rashes!

Recommended Posts

For those of us who have suffered from rashes, yeast, infections & other problems in our skinfolds, I have a product i would like to share with you. It is made by Burt's Bees. It's called "Baby Bee Skin Cream". It comes in a jar & it is the best thing I have ever found. I even had a patient in the nursing home I was working in who suffered with a raw bottom all the time & would cry. I asked around & she had been suffering with it for a couple of years. I told her about this product & she had her sister buy some for her & after 2 days her bottom was healed! It even works for "babboon butt" as my husband calls it! LOL!! Just thought I would share. I know this is a topic that is avoided at all costs, but there's no reason to suffer!! :biggrin1:

Oh I have used baby diaper rash ointment for heat rashes between my thighs from walking around for a long time. I am assuming this is similar to that? Balmex was always a staple for me when working as a bartender. Great for apron rashes as well. I will have to get some of the burts bees stuff and try it out. I just found a place that sells it.

It is a different consistency than diaper rash ointment. I don't know how to explain it. It is all natural & has beeswax & other goodies in it. My Grandpa is a beekeeper & says that honey has antibacterial properties in it. So i don't know if this has anything to do with it's effectiveness or not. But it is almost a miracle cure. At least for me it is! It will clear anything up in a day or two & almost immediately takes the sting & burning out! And it stays on until you shower. No need for reapplication! I highly recommend it. I have tried all the diaper rash stuff & for me this stuff is the ticket! LOL!! I am in no way affiliated with this company!! I just wanted to share! LOL!!!

oooo I like the no reapplication side of things... It is hard to carry around a tube of diaper rash ointment. People look at you funny when they see it LOL

I also use that new monistat chafing gel on my thigh area - it works really well because it goes on like a silky powder barier. I like it except it only comes in a small tube so if you use a lot it could get expensive I suppose.

I used to get rashes all the time in my skin folds and then I started using Dial Antibacterial Deodorizing body wash and I haven't had any trouble since. My doctor and I have even discussed me not using it when it's time to get some plastic surgery done so insurance will cover. Sad that it may take that but I'm willing!!!

Most of the skin rashes in the folds of the skin are caused by yeast infections. They can be made more comfortable by a lot of creams, but if you truly want a cure for it you need to use Lamisil. It will take care of the itching, redness, and permanently cure the problem. Just trying to be helpful. We have used it in hospitals for years.

Good to know information! I don't get the rashes often, but it sounds like I need to keep a tube of that stuff on hand for when I do get them (have one now even). I'm also interested to know that it helps with the eczema. My sister suffers horribly with that stuff.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
