SO SAD TO SAY GOODBYE TO BREAD ALTOGETHER

Recommended Posts

I'VE TRIED THE THINS :( THEY WONT GO DOWN EITHER

Lovemysgt,

Have you tried crackers? I love bread but I am unable to eat any at all. I can't eat tortillas either but crackers seem to do the trick. They will give you that bread taste without making you sick.

Crackers, Whole-wheat

well, SHIT!

What about croutons? Can you handle them, since they're crumbly/crunchy? How about those little melba toasts (generally in a Chex Mix kinda thing?) I'm just looking for something that will help you satisfy your bread "need"

I eat bread very, VERY rarely..... mostly because I have gluten sensitivities, but I can understand you missing it. But as 54Shirley put so eloquently: That flour, and Water turns to glue. That Glue will forever stick to you.

The last time I had bread was at macaroni grill, I had a small piece, and I schmeared it with the oil they had on the table. I got stuck :( that was a few weeks ago. Before that, I think it was a crouton :)

I can't eat crackers either.... they get stuck. However, I do eat "savory rice crackers" from Trader Joe's.... those go down without any issue.

Good luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
