7 weeks pregnant with lap band

Recommended Posts

I finally got the nerve to take an e.p.t yesterday and was positive x 2!! I :o had my IUD removed Jan 24 th, my DR said "it will be 3 months or so before you get your period".....I got my period Feb 17th!!! and then nothing in March. I started having breast tenderness a couple weeks ago but didn't think much of it. I'm going this morning for testing with my Dr.

As for my band, I had 1 cc removed recently due to throat burning and have managed to gain 8 lbs. I know weight gain/loss should not be a big concern right now.....however! I have been eating way to much and want at least 0.5 cc fill. I have no restriction at all....

I would like to know, how much weight have others gain thus far or throughout their pregnancy in general......

My band baby is now nearly 4 months old. I didnt get any taken out of my band until I was 15 weeks. At that point my band just got too tight and I couldnt even get much Water down. I gained the most right after having some taken out. I was at 8.5cc in an 11cc band and it was taken down to 4cc. I had my baby at 38 1/2 weeks and I ended up gaining 30pounds with him. Within the first two weeks I lost 25 pounds.

Try not to get too wrapped up in the scale. I know it is so much harder said than done, but it is all worth it in the end!!

CONGRATS

I am 23 weeks pregnant my band is at 9CC and honestly I feel the same as if I have no restrictions.. Sometimes it feels tighter than other days... I have gained only 12 lbs... I am walking but, I will be honest since pregnant my eating habits are horrible... :*( I am working on that now...

Tracy wow you lost a lot of weight after giving birth... How long before you went back to get your band filled?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
