How do you get enough fiber?

Recommended Posts

Fiber Choice Plus Calcium chewable tablets. I keep 'em next to my computer and nibble on a couple while I'm working.

My Dr. gave me a probiotic pill, and that has helped me drastically with the "fiber-related issues". i.e. pooping regular.

You can also get Culturelle over the counter and this helps.

I know this wasn't your exact question, but I thought I'd throw it out there just in case it helps....

I'm not banded yet but am curious about getting Fiber afterward. I see a lot of people can't/don't eat bread or fibrous veggies. Do you have a problem getting enough fiber? I am someone who needs a lot of fiber to stay regular if you kwim. I eat whole wheat everything. I'm just afraid if I'm eating mostly Protein that I won't have room for enough fiber. How do you do it?

I LOVE broccoli and would go into deep mourning if I couldn't eat it. I have gotten stuck on it once, but that was my fault. I cook it very well now and chew it well and do fine. Try roasting it.. yummmmmmm!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
