MyFitnessPal.com Members

Hi Everyone,

I am a fellow lap-bander (banded October '09) and I use MyFitnessPal.com to track my foods, exercise and weight loss goals. It's a great tool. Are any of you members? It is free, if you are interested.

If you are members or become members, what do you think of becoming "buddies" on this site so we can look at what each other eats and excercise, etc. for help and tips?

Reply here or PM me if you're interested. I can give you my email address and you can look it up on Myfitnesspal.com so we can be linked.

Be well,

Renee

What LindaS said, she is fabulous!

Wishes, you ARE about to starve to death! ;) BTW, what's a "fitbit calorie adjustment?" I've seen that on a few peoples' diaries....

If you go to the Fitness & Exercise forum, the very first topic pinned is a huge list of MyFitnessPal user ids of people who regularly use this forum. Here's the direct link: http://www.verticalsleevetalk.com/topic/22264-official-my-fitness-pal-friend-add-thread/

MyFitnessPal does limit how many you can friend in a certain time period, so it will take a bit.

By the way, my userid there is slsherwood51. Feel free to friend me. :)

Haha, this week it really feels like it. Between classes, work and projects. I am just not keeping up my calories. At least, my protein is still good, and you couldn't pay me to miss a vitamin.

Fitbit calorie adjustment is when the fitbit accounts for daily walking activity. I normally readjust mine to 20% less than what it accounts for since previously morbidly obese individuals burn less during exercise.

trishajo82! now that I am 6 days out from surgery I am laying down the law and getting back on there religiously like I used to be! I need more sleeve friends on there!

Ok - I made a little tool -- that lists everyone that I got so far. I will be modifying it so you can add yourself if you're not already on the list... just keep posting your id's in here.. and I will have a much cooler tool put together in a couple days...(I'm a web programmer)
