MyFitnessPal.com Members

Hi Everyone,

I am a fellow lap-bander (banded October '09) and I use MyFitnessPal.com to track my foods, exercise and weight loss goals. It's a great tool. Are any of you members? It is free, if you are interested.

If you are members or become members, what do you think of becoming "buddies" on this site so we can look at what each other eats and excercise, etc. for help and tips?

Reply here or PM me if you're interested. I can give you my email address and you can look it up on Myfitnesspal.com so we can be linked.

Be well,

Renee

I think it makes a difference, I belive we have a totally different mindset. Yest- I went to get my haircut as i keep it very short for the pool etc and the gal who usually does my hair and knows bout my band just ignored me and finally the dude came over and said "well no-one is taking anyone so come with me" and another older lady said HI there but she ignored me- (I see she's put on some weight)... anyhow-- i think banders have a different understanding than those who are NOT. I think that's why all the support group stuff,,, so thanks for helping me in the MFP biggrin.png

I'm also on MFP....please add me bandsters! You are right, it's not always easy to talk about banding on those boards, would be nice to have support from others in the same situation!

I'm 1shauna1 same as here.

I don't really know how to "add" a friend on my fitness pal but I would love some LB friends !!!

I'm snzgetsfit if anybody sends a request I would happily accept. Is the online different than the iPhone version?? I just can't see how to get friends. I click on friends and it says that i don't have any....lol

Thx

Stephanie

First of all I just installed the iPhone app of lapbandtalk and I am just figuring it out. So not sure how this will show.

Please add me in MFP. I am auntbrat.

Thank you.
