Well I had my sleeve yesterday. The camera/equipment for the laparoscopy nicked and artery and the had to open me up. I have an incision from bra line to panty line. Wow!

NettD my surgery had some
Complications so I have a bit of a longer triad ahead than expected. During the camera insertion a vein was nicked. When they went in with the gas tube, my abdomen had blood. They had to open me up to find the blood. I ended up with my bariatric team as well as a trauma team working on me. One the nick was found it had already sealed and stopped bleeding. I got my sleeve but now I have a huge 12”+ to heal rather than my 5-6 holes I was expecting.

I can’t complaint my doc was a rockstar and controlled my pain amazingly.

Now I’m sick of bed rest and I’m fighting to get water in since I just wanna sleep and heal.

This weekend is stock up and get ready weekend. I'm so glad protein shakes have improved since 2012 when I had my band put in. Pre-Op diet is a challenge. I miss my coffee.

Corn, red potatoes, Yukon gold potatoes, russet potatoes, purple potatoes, sweet potatoes, cherry, grape, and traveler tomatoes, strawberries, cantaloupe, watermelon, zucchini, yellow squash, cucumbers, and 6 types of pumpkins. Oh and sunflowers. Lol

I got my third fill last Thursday. Woohoo I have restriction. I have had to slow waaaay down eating and my portions are half. I'm only at 4.6 in a 10 band but boy do I feel it now.

I love it. Saved my life during preop. Their unflavored is good too.

Drop it already! Wow I'm in Junior High. My momma always told me "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all.". The negative comments have no place here. Everyone here is looking for encouragement. And while you are at it, stop being soo judgmental. Everyone here has flaws. Please think before you type 99wpm. Have a great day!

UNJURY makes an unflavored protein powder. Also their chicken soup flavored protein drink has saved my life for pre-op. I have surgery on 2/20...Light at the end of the tunnel baby!!!!!!!!

The tomato sauce also could be helping the heartburn be worse than normal. It has a lot of acid, if I don't take my prilosec, I can't do any kind of tomato product.
