Just got thru surgery last night, Nov 2....so I did end up staying the night in hospital. So far since home 11am on to now 4pm, I have downed about 35 oz including 30 grams of protein. No gas pains, 6 cuts, largest 1.5 inches it looks like. More sore if I move in getting up or down, walking fine. Sugar count was high after surgery but fine now. Good to be on the other side......

Surgery today...will leave my house in a few hours.....12noon is my check in time....last night they said I might have to stay over night due to the later in the day surgery. I want to drink something so bad.........

I have been pretty open to telling most people....not telling thru facebook let but most likely I will. The part that I am not open to is the telling of the cost as we paid in full. BUT there is a lawsuit started due to doctor and insurance issues...one of my doctors refused to turn in his paperwork. Now I am wondering why he has not turned in the bills for insurance. I had a copay only to him for my dieting for 6 months. Due to this, insurance is refusing to pay. I decided I could not wait any longer due to my health issues. So my family, friends know, but not so much on the money and doctor issue. My surgery is Nov 2......

I am only a day and half from my banding date! Friday late morning is my time.......and has not had a diet coke for like 10 days now....I wonder how it will be sleeping on my left side? I am a side sleeper and it is left mostly. But plan on doing the recliner sleep time for a few days if needed.

And I must say, even different post op diets..

Hang in there...I am sure they will clear you soon...all those things make it more easier for insurance to clear ya for payment....my date is Nov 2, and I have sleep apnea and heart issues and many other issues.

We, in Oregon and Washington (we border WA), they don't have any CVS......but I did find some I could use so all is good.

I have one and I love it...the only thing to remember is that to not take it with you when you might need a xray....the runs the battery down and then does not keep as good of a charge. But I do love mine.... paintwithbarb is my id on fitbit.

No, I am not banded let...Nov 02, 2012 is my surgery date.......

my insurance should of paid but I was refused due to not all of my records being turned in by one of my doctors...but it should be fixed later. I just could not wait any more as this is my health so I paid out of pocket $14,800 and that will cover me for 90 days after getting the band, to be banded on Nov 2, 2012.

3 inches? My surgeon says the largest is about a inch........others like quarter of a inch....I ended up getting childrens liquid and the doc said that was okay
