NettD my surgery had some Complications so I have a bit of a longer triad ahead than expected. During the camera insertion a vein was nicked. When they went in with the gas tube, my abdomen had blood. They had to open me up to find the blood. I ended up with my bariatric team as well as a trauma team working on me. One the nick was found it had already sealed and stopped bleeding. I got my sleeve but now I have a huge 12”+ to heal rather than my 5-6 holes I was expecting. I can’t complaint my doc was a rockstar and controlled my pain amazingly. Now I’m sick of bed rest and I’m fighting to get water in since I just wanna sleep and heal. How are you doing?

Well I had my sleeve yesterday. The camera/equipment for the laparoscopy nicked and artery and the had to open me up. I have an incision from bra line to panty line. Wow!

This weekend is stock up and get ready weekend. I'm so glad protein shakes have improved since 2012 when I had my band put in. Pre-Op diet is a challenge. I miss my coffee.

Got bumped up to 9/26.

Sleeve scheduled 9/27

I'm doing great. I've plateaued a bit but I haven't had a fill in about a year.

How are we doing ladies? Hope your Thanksgiving went well. I'm starting my trainer back this week. Gotta get back in the groove.

Feb 5th Nov 3rd 50 lbs gone

I'm 37 and was banded on 2/20/2012. I hit my 50lb gone milestone today. It includes preop but I'll take it!!

My doc considered the Unjury chicken soup a clear liquid. Was awesome to have something warm to drink on my pre op diet.

I got Tylenol cough. The only active ingredient is acetaminophen.

Banded since 2/20/12. Love it. First couple of weeks I thought "what have I done" after that its been good.

Heating pad and gas x were my best friends. Congrats on starting your journey.
