Papaya Enzyme = Drano

Recommended Posts

Well...well...well. I read on the board about how papaya enzyme was great for digestion...and if Dr. Oz likes it...it must be good? Right?

Well...if you take that stuff...you don't need to take much...and if your system is like mine...if you don't own a hat...you better buy one and hold on to it.

Let's just say that it improves your regularity issues. (Wow)

From the things I've read...papaya enzyme helps purge dead tissue and material naturally. You can buy that stuff for around $3 at the pharmacy or grocery store....and yes...it works. (Well enough that I had to come write something on the forum about it.)

Ask your doctor....the tablets are sweet...chewable (they dissolve into almost nothing) and uh...yeah...they work.

Has anyone else tried them?

I saw those posts and bought some, too! I saw somewhere on here that they could help with stuck episodes. Maybe not worth it, huh?

I don't know. I mean...if you need it...you need it. For anyone that's having issues with regularity (considering we eat almost nothing and in such small amounts that it alters that part of digestion. The papaya will definitely "straighten that out" safely.

Initially they do that for me...which is pretty nice. They do seem to help that part of things. The other side of it is the "drano-effect" though. (Maybe I'm just 'full of it'. Ha!)

I have used them and they don't work like draino for me. They work for me if I'm just feeling "kinda stuck" to help that feeling go away. If I'm stuck bad they don't help. Thank goodness It only took me a few episodes to learn my lesson. To stay regular I eat a Fiber gummie every day.

Where in the world do you buy these things? I asked my pharmacist at my grocery store and he had never heard of them.

I bought mine at the health food store. Did not work like drano but they really made me (my stomach) feel better. I was feeling like everything I ate was getting stuck. I got a bottle of 120 for like 8 bucks.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
