Laser hair removal

Recommended Posts

I have started having treatments. I got an amazing package deal. $600 for chin & upperlip w/ unlimited treatments for a year. I have to agree though about the pain. It does hurt, but well worth it. Also I have to say that they specified that I could not pluck or wax the hairs while doing this treatment because it removes the hair folicle that they are trying to zap...therefore never really getting rid of any hairs. They said shaving was fine. I've had 3 treatments so far and I no longer have to shave every day. It's wonderful!

Props to everyone!

My daughter is having her face done. She's had one treatment. She said it really didn't hurt that bad. In fact, she didn't even get red. Her Doctor says she'll need around 8 to 9 treatments to take care of it all. My daughter is very fair and has very sensitive skin. I guess the doctor is taking it slow with her. It cost 325.00 for every treatment. She gets hers sideburns and upper lip done. Next she wants her bikini line and lower legs done. Hey, but what about me! I'd love to get my face done too. She comes back with... Ahhh mom, you're old, you don't need it. Can you imagine that? lol I'm not that old. Sheesh. Thanks, Elee

Oh yeah, I forgot to say that she was told to shave only. and she should shave before coming in for treatments. So there is no burning of hair on the surface of her face, no smell.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
