Do you take them? I haven't found any that I actually like so I have been avoiding them. I used to take a prenatal Vitamin before the band because it was easier on my stomach now I don't know what to take. I attempted those chewables YUCK!!! I'm gonna give the Vitamins another try but do any of you know of a small sized vitamin that won't need to be chewed?

I ordered the opurity band optimized Vitamins from Unjury. I tried one yesterday and it tasted nasty, so I don't think I am going to use them. I prbably will go back to my adult gummy vitamins.< /p>

My doc said to start the adult chewables on Friday which is 8 days after my surgery. I bought the gummies. :)

I tried the chewable Multivitamin and would gag every time. It was disgusting! I went to Vitamin world and got liquid multi & Calcium. They aren't bad. It's like taking a shot and you're done. You have to keep them refrigerated so it tastes better cold.

Good luck!

I tried the adult chewables by Centrum and ... well, let's just say the bottle is still full. YUCK! There is a very good liquid viatamin by Balanced Essentials ... pricey and doesn't taste good. I would take it as soon as I got out of bed ... I would stumble to the refrigerator and down it before I could wake up and taste it. LOL But now, I take Vitafusion multiple Vitamins for adults ... they're delicious! And VERY reasonable at Target.

Hope you find something that works.

One a Day makes a small Vitamin, about the size of an ibuprofen tablet. It is called One a Day Essentials. I buy the store brand, Kroger, at Smith's.

It has 100% of the RDA for the B Vitamins and Thiamine.

I was taking the Flintstones and didn't mind them, however, I recently bought the Bariatric Advantage "Band" kit. The multi's are actually pretty good and has a lot more Vitamins in them then the Flintstones.

But all in all, I take Multi Vitamins, Calcium, Vitamin C and Iron, all chewables.< /p>

I take Gummy Vites. i couldn't stand the chalky chewables. I also take extra Folic acid and Vitamin D, but they are very small and can be swallowed easily.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
