Congratulations! That is so awesome. I hope to have the same success as you. I'd be interested to know, if you ever had times when you got upset about your progress? I was banded 09/08/10 and I have times when I get a little frustrated.

What an amazing transformation! Congrats to you. I am seeing my Dr. today (4 weeks post op) and was considering asking him just to take the thing out. Seeing your success makes me want to give it some more time.

Please don't think of taking the band out. I had so many emotions in the beginning. for the first few months, I kept telling myself, WHAT ON EARTH WAS I THINKING OF GETTING THIS BAND! I just had my 2nd bandiversary and am to goal and down 90 pds. You can do it, you need to get the right mental attitude on this and get over the defeat emotion! Believe me, it was a $30,000.00 investment that I did not want to lose on. Read whatever you have to and listen to what you need to hear to make this happen. I am 58 years old now and never regretted getting the band, except for the first few months. This is a new lifestyle and you need to make the changes now or never. Good luck and don't give up, I do believe you are stronger than that!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
