Well NO MORE OF THAT. This is 2006 and we are gonna do this right.:cheer2: I am not gonna tell you that your are not gonna be hungry. But instead of opening that fridge to see whats to eat next.... Do a I'M NOT REALLY HUNGRY dance:bananajump: . Maybe drink a class of Water or crystal lite or do a chant:whoo: Something to take ya mind off the food. GIRLS, I am on the Protein train!!!!!!!!!!!1

low carb slim fast is good. here's a treat, Isopure - it's a drink with a million Proteins in it, not too bad but a little expensive at GNC or places like that.

I am doing low carb slim fast morning & night, with a veggie lunch thing, like chicken ceasar salad w/o croutons (check label for carbs)

I have done the Atkins thang before and lost quite a bit of weight - I just put it back, but now with the band, maybe I won't.

My friend lost 75 pounds on Atkins. Go protein train!

C'mon ride the train, and ride it!

K I am joinging the Protein train!!! I am getting banded at the end of april and I want to be as low as possible before hand, then I am gonna continue after the surgery.

My Protein train diet is a bit of Atkins, a bit of the Protein powder diet. I am going to have 5 to 6 Protein shakes throughout the day (I really like the whey protein choco powder from wal mart) and a protein heavy dinner with a couple of cups of salad.

And lots and lots of water!!!

Count me in! I am on my way to 300!!!

Amy

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
