Hi:

I've lost 80% of my excess weight. I was banded originally in July 2007. Love my band!

I had to track down a calculator for this one....I've lost 89.7% of my excess weight and I'm not sure I'm done yet.

I also always wonder if I'd be a few pounds lighter if I had the Tummy Tuck that I'm too scared to consider seriously....

142%, meaning that I've gone well past the top of my healthy weight range, well past a BMI of 25, down to the lower end of things.

At 2 years I'd lost right on 100%

I have also lost over 100% I now weigh less then the amount I lost!

Starting weight was 282

Goal weight was 135

weight now is 128 (still losing)

I was banded 8/2006, it has taken me the entire 4 years. At 2 years I was still around 200 and didn't think I would lose any more, then all of a sudden the weight loss started again!

This is way too mathematical for me especially this early in the morning! I have lost more than 100% but can't figure how to calculate the percentage.

I have lost a total of 23kg. Starting weight 74kg - current 51kg. Top of the normal range would have been 58.5kg so I have lost an additional 7.5kg. Most of this was lost within the first 9 months.

I have lost about 60% of my excess weight. I am still losing and doing better recently than I did from about 6 months to 18 months post op.

I've lost 90%. It hasn't been easy, but it's great to be here!

I think I understand....."what ever mountain I have to climb I will"!

Well I lost 100% but gained back 6lbs with a failed attempt at maintaining, 2 of which I've gotten rid of and am working on the other 4. I have found losing alittle easier then the maintaining. Just can't seem to find a happy medium.

I have lost over 100% of my excess weight; I hit 100% at about 18 months, and have continued losing slowly without really trying. I was banded 12/31/08.

I was banded 1st Aug 2008 and I've lost about 130% of my excess weight. I've maintained this weight plus or minus 3 lbs for about a year now.

So I guess the "average of 50% of excess weight patients" don't visit this forum. lol

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
