What are your soft stops?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I just had my 5th fill, and I'm now 6 cc's in a 10 cc band. I'm definitely starting to feel the restriction now. It was tough yesterday, I had my first sliming (ewww) experience, and it was NOT pleasant to go through at all.

What I wanted to know was what are your soft stops? I haven't figured mine out yet. I think it's a small sigh in between bites, but I'm not sure.

What about you guys?

I just had my first fill and I think it's the pain I get in my shoulder or a small burp...I'm still learning what it is but I think thats it....

Sigh, runny nose or a hiccup. If I don't heed the warning and take that last bite because there is one or two more bites on my plate I really pay for it !

I don't have any; the signals I get come when I'm past where I am comfortable.

I have to really listen to my body and assess satiety after every bite.

usually burps, but can be a sigh or a runny nose.

I never thought that might be why my nose was running!

Interesting!

I really dont get these questions, it baffles me, but I know everyone has a different experience.

its just that for me, I simply feel comfortable in the tummy, like I did before. I feel full in exactly the same way. Once I start approaching that, I know its time to stop eating, and like before, my enjoyment of and desire for what I'm eating is less as I get more satisfied.

I feel full! Like there is no room to put anything else in my body. I also do the sigh.. You learn them as you go, be patient, there are many different stop points, you will only over do it a few times before you realize them..

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
