  1. I'm gonna hold off as long as possible .... im sure i will need one eventually but im losing about 2 pds a week and im ok with that when it stops or slows i will fill but until then i'm gonna push on with out one
  2. i am 6 wks post op and i lose 2 pds a week steady ! im not hungry and i dont want a fill yet. im not sure if its what "restriction"is but i weigh my protein and measure my veggies and carbs and i get full for about 3-4 hrs i have head hunger some times but for the most part im never starving or experience "bandster hell" for that im thankful so for me i say im managing without a fill for now
  3. yes it happens to me too....I'm not sure why i'm just happy that it takes less food to quiet it down
  4. they have p90 no x that is a little milder but still challenging im doing that my goal is to do it 3 days a week and walk/elliptical 2 days a week i just started last saturday.... im hoping the excercise will kick up the weight loss i go for first fill thursday
  5. i never really regretted my choice but it was alot more painful than i thought it would be i wasnt 100% until about 2 wks post op. i am lucky that at 5 wks out i do not suffer from hunger . my appetite is still very much controlled. today i would say yes i would do it again! best of luck to you!

  8. i was in alot of pain for about 3 days pain meds controlled it but it was there! i did not have a lot of gas pain! iam 2 weeks post op and down 13 pds and i feel great i have a slight twinge in the port site but its more of an irritant than actual pain
  9. i lost 20 pds in the 6 month preop. 9 pounds post op im 6 days out. and iam very afraid of shedding the weight because in the past ive lost weight and then sabotaged myself when i was slim and had too much attention so this time i plan to get a therapist
  10. i have 5 incisions and my port is to the left of my belly button . i didnt have terrible gas but i did have more pain than i expected . i am 6 days post op took 2 wks off not sure when i will be ready to go back .:smile2: My stats : weight on day approval 260 weight day of surgery 250 weight today 241
  11. 6 days post op had my first check up im down 9 pds since surgery doc has put me on full liquids which is great because i was getting hungry .... so hope i can stay fuller longer :rolleyes2:
  12. ok i am 5 day post-op and still have port pain it feels like gas is trapped behind it > it is frustrating cause i feel great otherwise but when i stand up the pain in the site is horrid so is this normal ??? im going to the dr tomorrow but just wondering if you all have any advice. Best of luck to all the banders tomorrow!!!!!

  14. you are my band twin how are u ? i was banded on 9/16 also and dont think i could go back to work today so you go girl:thumbup: i feel better everyday but im not at 100% yet maybe 75% lets keep in touch and encourage each other on our journey
