Preventing erosion

Hello,

I was searching the site for how to prevent erosion. The only thing I could find was that "abuse could cause erosion".

So since I couldn't find anything, I thought I would ask. I am assuming smoking and uncontrolled acid reflux can cause it? I'm not sure.

First of all there is stomach erosion and band erosion. To prevent stomach erosion dont consume tons of alhocol or spicy food make sure not to get large fills at a time or too close together. After a fill or pb episode make sure to follow your doctors orders like liquids for a few days etc. Dont get over filled that can cause acid reflux. Me personally i take a tums a day at night to help prevent stomach erosion whih i already had
