My band was placed on Wednesday, I woke up this morning with an odd feeling on my left side, almost like a pulling depending on how I move.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I guess I'm paranoid about my port.

Thanks for you help!

Sounds like maybe you're feeling the tugging sensation the port can create as it becomes embedded in muscle tissue.

HI. I was banded two years ago, and I often have that odd tugging when I am working out (except mine is on the right side.) It's probably not a big deal, but sometimes things can get a bit kinked up. Your surgeon will certainly know if it is cause for concern. If it's apain to go to the Office, perhaps you could call them instead. Good luck!

I experienced the same thing but also on my right side(thats where my port is) The numbess from the meds & the swelling is starting to go away but to put your mind at ease you might want to call your Dr. Keep us posted on your progress. Best of luck :smile2:

I was banded this Tuesday, this morning I woke up and noticed when I bend over or move a certain way, my left side where the port is has like pulling very painful feeling. Does this seem to be what you are feeling as well?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
