Who's been eating apples? Do you trim the skin off? I really want one and I love the skin, do you think it would be okay if I chew, chew, chew, chew, chew (you get the idea)?

Try it and see....I haven't tried apples, but I eat nectarines. I take that back, one day I had a happy meal at mcd's and ordered the apples instead of fries...they went down ok (I think the skin is on them)....

I peel them, I hate apple skin. Its like fingernails on a blackboard to me, something about the sensation of it on my teeth. I also cant take the first bite out of an apple, i have to slice it up. Otherwise I would happily leave an apple just sitting there even if I were about to die of starvation.

But peeled and sliced, when I make the effort, I wonder why the heck I dont eat them more often. They are one of the easier fruits for me once prepared, whereas bananas, ugh, cant swallow them, have to have those in smoothies.< /p>

Apples are uncomfortable for me to eat. I can eat them with the skin on, but it usually goes brown before I can eat the whole thing. I usually just have a couple of slices once in awhile if I can get someone else to eat the rest. I just have to really take my time in eating them and chewing well. Even then I don't get all warm and fuzzy in the process. More like pressure. So it's something I don't gravitate to if I want fruit.< /p>

I eat them. I cut it up in small chucks, sometimes peeling them. Then I zip-lock them and nimble on them like potatoe chips. They help keep me fuller between meals. Although Peanut Butter is not recommended by some doctors, sometimes I grab a spoon of it and dip the apples in it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
