Today was the first day I really exercised since surgery and I was to do 30 min on the eliptical. It was just slow and steady but a start none the less.

Great work. You should be so proud of yourself!

Every little bit helps and the next time will be easier. You will soon be able to add to it and increase your exercise. Once you get going, it feels pretty good and you feel so proud and in control.

Keep up the great work!

I can't wait to start a regiment of exercise. My band was installed on 7/21 and I was told no exercise for 6 weeks. I have been doing dancing from Just Dance, the Wii game but nothing hard core. Doc will be pissed if I bust my stitches which should all be just about absorbed by now.

I go so slow I'm not really tired when I'm done. It's just to get into a routine. Now shoveling out the horse stall last weekend may be another story:) I only took a small amount on the shovel, tried to stay under 15lbs (my limit for 3 weeks)

Congrats! Just had a big NSV.. My Hemoglobin A1C for my diabetes went from 7.3 in Feb down to 5.9 which is in the normal range. My doc lowered my diabetes meds from 2000 mg to 500 mg.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
