I am now on a full liquid diet and need some fat free cream Soups. I am not allowed to have cream of potatoe or cream of tomato....The only cream Soup I like is cream of crab. I am sick of cream of wheat, oatmeal, Jello, pudding etc. I need something to stick.......

Please helllllllppppppppp meeeeeee!!!!

One thing that I discovered during my full liquid stage that I actually liked and am still doing it daily in the pureed food stage is sugar-free carnation instant Breakfast (chocolate), 2 tbsp Peanut Butter, milk and ice well blended. It doesn't have the nasty after taste/smell of some of the Protein shakes and it keeps me satisfied for quite a while.

Good Luck!

Cream of mushroom Soup is delicious, as is cream of celery (and I don't even like celery). :blushing:

Get the carnation instant Breakfast essentials in the blue box (its no sugar added) has 5 grams of Protein but if you add chocolate Protein powder to it its not bad and gives you about 20 grams.

My husband baked a turkey breast till it was falling off the bones then he put the booger in the blender with some chicken broth and blended the bad boy up and I tell you, it was the next best thing to thanksgiving dinner (when you are on a liquid diet). LOL

Good luck

V8 has some smooth Soups sold in "boxes" in the Soup isle. I tried Sweet Red Pepper which was pretty good I did add garlic powder to it though. I am preband but had the flu and thought I would try out soup flavors.

Thanks for the advice. Now I am feeling so nauseated that I don't want anything. I took my medicine for nauseau and just want to lie down.

I was allowed to drink V8 (low sodium) and 1% milk. 8-11oz.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
